Capecitabine is available to us in a form of pill that must be taken by mouth with or without food as per your doctor' direction. It is usually taken 2 times a day such as one at morning and another at evening. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water rather than chewing or crushing it in the mouth. The dosage is roughly based on your medical condition, weight of your body and medical response of the illness. Do not increase your dosage more than prescribed as it will not improve your condition and also this may increase the risk of side effects from the medicine. Follow the leaflet prescription carefully and consult or discuss all your doubts regarding the medicine.
